This policy explains how Thibault Demars ("we") processes the personal data of visitors to the textcalm.app website, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It applies to the website only. The TextCalm AI app has its own privacy policy, available from within the app.
Summary
- No account, no forms: the website does not ask you for any personal data.
- Audience measurement: Microsoft Clarity, only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Declining has no effect on access to the website.
- Hosting: the website is hosted by Hetzner, in the European Union.
- Your rights: write to support@textcalm.app. We reply free of charge within one month.

3. Cookies and local storage
- Before you choose: no audience measurement cookie is set and Microsoft Clarity is not loaded.
- If you accept: Microsoft Clarity sets its cookies (for example
_clckand_clsk). - Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (key
tc-consent). It contains no data that identifies you. - Changing your mind: the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page reopens the banner. If you withdraw your consent, Clarity is notified and stops running on the website.

5. Retention
- Server logs: up to 12 months.
- Microsoft Clarity data: according to the retention periods set by Microsoft for Clarity.
- Cookie banner choice: kept in your browser until you change it or clear the website's data.
- Emails: as long as needed to handle your request, then up to 3 years.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings". To exercise them, write to support@textcalm.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with your local supervisory authority.
7. What we don't do
- No advertising and no advertising trackers.
- No sale of personal data.
- No data collection through forms: the website has none.
